Boracay

Boracay Island is certainly one of the most well-known and visited islands within the Philippines. It only covers 10km2, but is packed with bars, restaurants along with some great beaches and activities to keep you busy.

Most popular beaches are the long ‘White Beach’ and ‘Puka Shell Beach’ also known as Yapak Beach. These were both included in TripAdvisor’s Top 25 Beaches in Asia.

Activities range from Snorkeling and Scuba Diving, Kiteboarding and Windsurfing, Sunset Yacht Cruise, Cliff Diving and Kayaking, Island Hopping and even a Helicopter Tour is available. There is also an 18-hole Golf Course.

If you’re more into relaxation, then aside from the many beaches, there are several Spa’s and wellness centers to choose from.

Since it has re-opened after the 6th month closure to aid in the development and rehabilitation of the Island, it has calmed down considerably due to the new restrictions in place, it is much more suited to the family holiday, the club scene has somewhat been put on the backburner, with the current curfew in place. But putting that aside, as the new Boracay tagline goes, Boracay is now ‘better than ever’.
