Manila
Manila is the capital of the Philippines and is central to Business and Education. It is divided into 16 districts, all of which have its own history, culture, and cuisine. The most populous area is Metro Manila, which consists of several cities such as Makati, Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City and Taguig.
Home to more than 14 million, it is extremely congested, especially on the roads. You need to allow extra time if you are commuting between the districts, to and from the airport, or travelling for business.

Feast days and festivals are often largely celebrated in and around the Metro. Filipino families would often invite relatives and friends to join in the celebration even if they’re from a neighboring city or even if they’re from a different province.
